“Prime Time Pups is really a great organization! We adopted a dog from a rescue and the poor guy probably had a rough first year or so. He seems sweet but also scared, anxious, and reactive. He barked for no reason, was reactive especially to other dogs, and even a couple people. We were really struggling with his timid, yet random somewhat aggressive behavior and didn't know what to do.First we spoke with Rio over the phone. That was a breath of fresh air. He was very understanding of the situation, provided some input, and was happy to meet our pup and observe some of his behaviors, and to give us a couple of suggestions. When Rio met our pup, it was clear our pup was comfortable with him and that he immediately responded very well to Rio.Rio observed and noted a few behaviors to us. Helped explain a few things and suggested some products that we could use for training and to help our pup have some more regulated mental stimulation. He was very understanding about everything and never showed any judgment. We already see improvement through his suggestions and can't wait to make it better by pursuing more training with Prime Time Pups.Rio really just comes off as a caring master of his skill, plain and simple. Not all dogs are naturally the sweetest, gentle, calmest friends we'd all want, and this training is necessary for those types of dogs to have their best life.Rio and prime time pups have completely changed our course with our new friend. We have a friend who used a different company and did the group classes over several months. “We recently got a mini-dachshund puppy. He was nipping at us. Thankfully we found Kathy! Our little furbaby spent 2 weeks with her and learned manners! Also, he was able to play and interact with big dogs. But his favorite little pal was Mae - another puppy! Also, Kathy taught him how to use a, "Potty" button. Just tonight, he pushed the button, so I took him out and he went potty. We came back in and not 2 min later, he pushed it again. (I thought, didn't we just go out?) But I took him out and he went again. That told me that I didn't stay out long enough with him the first time! It's amazing when you can communicate with your dog! I love it! I love how much socialization he got when he was over there. Also, Kathy is incredibly knowledgeable and will answer any questions you may have! Definitely call her and see how she can help! “I have worked with Leona on multiple occasions. My dog was originally signed up for group classes with Spruce Mountain, and after one class, he had a hard time with being around the other pups. After speaking with Leona, she offered to switch him to individual sessions and we would revisit group training later. Due to my schedule, and living 45 minutes away, this was greatly appreciated. Leona has always been flexible, worked with me, has even boarded my pup with her to do some extensive training that I have not been able to do myself. This is my first puppy, and the work Leona has done, continues to do, and I am sure I will continue to work with her has been nothing short of fabulous. Leona not only trains my dog, she cares about my dog, his well being, and gave me the sweetest gift after he was boarded with her. It was a collection of pictures of him in various mediums and it melted my heart. I love working with Leona and so thankful she is such a pleasure to work with!!!!“

As much as I didn’t think we would, we really really love the Zoom (virtual) sessions. Being able to train our pup in the comfort of our home for house manners is EVERYTHING! She is super understanding and flexible with scheduling and we have greatly appreciated that as well. Carrie loves the pups and that is OBVIOUS! And her passion to get our Karma a particular type of training and officially certified being she is a pitbull means so much to us. Carrie shows soooo much love to our Karma and we love that. “Allan, the owner was very helpful in discussing the best action for our Terrier mix Boo. She had a horrible experience with another boarding facility and Allan was very knowledgeable. We boarded her with A Paw Above and it was FANTASTIC. Allen and the staff are very patient, knowledgeable and understanding. I will discuss with Allen training that might help Boo.
