Going into retirement and planning for no longer receiving an income based on my skills and work ethic I felt I need to find a someone to partner with in looking after my investing strategies with both growing and preserving what I had managed to put away to sustain me for hopefully the next several decades of retirement.
I did not feel comfortable with any of the big-name corporate firms that would push their own proprietary investment products and corporate outlooks and strategies that might fit the demographic box I most closely fit into.
