December 13, 2022 If you need your roof replaced and maybe even your siding you need to use Peter Bosler: (720) 206-9442. Peter works for Assurance Contractors, Denver/Fort Collins, CO (800) 992-7231. Here’s why: 1. Insurance wanted to replace only one wall and a small part of a second wall. I don’t know how Peter did it; but, he somehow got the insurance company to replace the whole house. It would have been easy for Peter to go with the insurance proposal; but, he didn’t. He spent a lot of his time “leaning” on them until they agreed to do the whole house. 2. Peter sent out Assurance’s siding team; an English speaking father and son. This was important because there were several issues that had to be discussed to make sure the job was done right. Being able to talk to the guys doing the work was invaluable. 3. Two year earlier I had hail damage. That roof inspector said there is evidence my roof is getting too hot. My, at that time, roofing contractor told me, “Don’t worry, we'll take care of it.” Two years later another hail storm. Another roof inspection and the inspector tells me “Your roof is getting too hot.” My previous roofing contract had not done a thing to fix the problem; all though he said he would. 4. Peter offered up several solutions. We settled on “Edge Vents”. Since edge vents have been installed in my roof, the upstairs bedrooms’ summer temperatures track the rest of the house and don’t become “screaming hot”; as before. I know this because I put a thermometer in one of the bedrooms so I can make actual temperature measurements. 5. It took a while to get the insurance company to come around to do the siding. As a result, the roof was replaced before the siding. The siding installers needed to install scaffolding. The scaffolding was attached to the house by attaching it to the roof. This put holes in the shingles. Once the scaffolding was removed, these holes were caulked over. Peter sent one of his roofers back to replace those shingles with new ones. I know of no other contractor’s agent who will give you this kind of service.

Derek was great to work with. We had to "fight" the insurance company to get all work done and Derek was persistent in this effort. When the city inspector inspected our roof, he made a special effort to tell me that I had gotten a real quality installation. I will recommend Assurance to anyone needing their services in the future.
