New West Physicians, Evergreen Internal & Family Medicine at Arapahoe Peak

Updated 10/27/2023: Front desk is much better. Dr's and PAs are good. New West Physician's system is a pain to deal with but if you can contact their office in Evergreen it works.6 Years Ago: Finding another provider. Rude front office people who don't want my business and don't care about my or my family's health. PAs are excellent if you can ever get to them, Dr's so-so. Avoid if you can.

Insurance companies made it impossible for Arapahoe Peak to do business as a standalone organization. So, they joined New West Physicians who were recently purchased by OPTUM. OPTUM has absorbed another practice, forced some of the doctors to find greener pastures and overloaded the remaining wonderful physicians of Arapahoe with extraordinary work loads. I had an appointment, they called to cancel (OPTUM CALL CENTER) saying my doctor wouldn't be in that day. I showed up on that day (forgot the reschedule) and found that he was seeing patients. Lately the service has been awful. They recently let go the best doctor for no reason. They didn't tell the patients and then the system deleted our appointments. No one notified us and then we had to go to Golden for their mistake and had a worse experience at the Golden location.Canceled multiple appointments last second with little to no notice in the past.The patient portal refuses to work and no one is willing to help you figure it out. And then the workers seem to shame you if you can't get it to work.Then I recently was denied care for wanting to get tested.They do not care for their patients here.They lost 3 patients today.Only 2 stars because we enjoyed our previous...read full review
