About New West Physicians, Evergreen Internal & Family Medicine at Arapahoe Peak
New West Physicians, Evergreen Internal & Family Medicine at Arapahoe Peak provides quality care for patients of all ages. The practice focuses on tailored prevention strategies, personalized management of chronic health issues, and a collaborative approach to wellness and nutrition. Patients appreciate the highly qualified team of internal and family medicine physicians who emphasize patient-centered care. Many reviews highlight the respect and patience shown by the doctors, particularly at the Evergreen office, where one patient expressed a strong recommendation for their doctor. However, some reviews point to challenges with the front office staff and the overall system, which can be difficult to navigate. While the front desk has seen improvements, there are reports of rudeness and a lack of care in some cases. Additionally, the merger with OPTUM has raised concerns about increased workloads for physicians, impacting patient experiences. Despite these issues, the dedication of the doctors and their staff shines through, with many patients praising their care and commitment. Overall, New West Physicians aims to be a trusted partner in health for all their patients.
I’ve gone to this clinic for about four years, not sure what to call it anymore (Arapahoe Peak / New West / Optum). Every provider I’ve seen has been professional and I’ve been treated very well. The one consistent issue is continuity—there’s frequent turnover, so for my 6-month medication check-ups I’ve rarely seen the same doctor or NP more than once. If you value a long-term relationship with one Doctor, this is not the place. If the clinic can stabilize staffing or make it easier to book with the same provider, it would be an excellent experience. As it stands, great care—just limited continuity.
Kathleen Holman is fantastic. I’ve seen her a handful of times over the past few years and she is always very attentive and knowledgeable, taking the time to talk through and determine the best course of action. Truly the best PCP I’ve had.
I no longer live nearby and medical help in rural Colorado is extremely expensive. Even though I live two hours away, the telehealth appointments are working! Glad they still take my insurance.
