In explaining things she is SO THOROUGH and thoughtful, insightful, and sensitive. The things she has taught me are transforming my practice. Small things with big effects, like how to properly move, bend, and extend my knee in various poses. Or how to use props to make certain poses accessible, balanced, restorative, and effective. “I asked for a specific haircut using a picture which I showed to Ellie. I already had something similar but I wanted something a little more like the photo I shared with her. She got it close, so very close. If I was to be in CO longer, or if I ever visit and need a haircut, I will definitely try to get an appt with Ellie's Place. It usually takes a few cuts to really get a feel for my type of hair (thick and coarse and bleached). Then, on a previous visit, she repaired a very bad cut from a different vendor there in town. I think I've decided that most women wear their hair long in Durango, so cute short cuts are not very common. Ellie did a wonderful job evening up the disaster I was left with, and I'm forever thankful for that! See you next time Ellie!“

“Really enjoyed Garretts Power Vinyasa class. The class was maybe 2/3 full but it felt there was enough space to move around for each pose. The studio was good vibes. Would recommend.“

“What a nice human. We hand called every gym in Durango to see if our child could come. We were visiting out of town and had nobody to watch him but really wanted to just lift. He is 5 and watches a movie the entire time we work out. We showed up here and it was under construction but they said come in and don’t pay anything and your son can be here. It was amazing.“
