The staff at the animal hospital saved my best friend’s life on October 3, 2024.
We were from out of town and passing through Durango on our way from Oregon back to Pittsburgh, PA. As we were walking through town after hiking, Rosco started drinking water from a bowl outside of one of the gift shops. He started drinking way too fast but by the time we pulled him away from the bowl it was too late. A couple minutes later he started showing symptoms of bloat. He was trying to vomit and nothing was coming out. He then got in a hunched over posture and looked “bloated”. My family was passing through Durango with our 13 year old dog, who suddenly had a health emergency. The staff at Riverview from the second we walked in were so thorough in making sure our pup was stable and comfortable. Our assigned vet, Natasha was beyond great, she did a thorough exam and was clearly motivated to find a treatable diagnosis instead of giving up on an old dog. We are so grateful to have been at this location when this happened. Thank you Riverview for the excellent care!
Doctor was very patient and kind with my kitty as well as her assistant. They were able to get me in same day in their urgent care. Was very pleased with the care my kitty received. They also have another doctor there that specializes with kitties.
