Staying here was like being on vacation. Everybody's so friendly and so helpful. The food's great. All the nurses and assistants are very efficient and happy people. I can't say enough good things about this hospital and the way it is run. They go the extra mile to avoid infections, make you comfortable ,inform you about how to handle things when you get home. And they are always here to answer the phone if you need them. Most people want to go home rather than staying in the hospital. I can tell you that staying in this hospital really is a pleasant experience

I had an amazing experience with everyone at Animas Surgical Hospital. While I am not planning on re-injuring myself anytime soon or planning another surgery, I would entrust them with any surgery again. I recently had knee surgery because of an injury and I couldn't be more grateful for the kind, caring, and professional staff every step of the way. Tiffany at the front desk was so kind and reassuring. Laura in pre-op was so nice, gentle, and extremely efficient. Kristin with the anesthesia team was very professional and informative, which really put me at ease going under anesthesia. This is the only ER we use in Durango (sadly we have been there 3 times over the past year). The staff was kind, & professional, there were no abnormal wait times, and billing was easy. I don't understand why the rating is so low - especially compared to the other hospital in town.
