Shazam Home Services has received positive reviews for their excellent communication and professionalism. They keep clients informed with progress photos and answer all questions thoroughly. Their team, including Miranda, does a great job explaining what is covered under home warranties and completing repairs efficiently. They even follow up to ensure clients are satisfied with the work done. However, some clients have expressed concerns about the management of home warranties and metro districts, citing issues with underfunding and mismanagement.
May 2019, we had a warm winter, like 70° days, so I didn't notice what would be my biggest fight for this house would last 6 years. The only water pipe they put along the north wall, and under the slab was my kitchen sink. I called to complain about it being frozen. I felt like IT was asking if I had turned it off and back on 🙄 but started looking into the random pictures I had taken during construction and found one showing holes in the wall, by the pipe before insulation and drywall. My AC has been broken for a week now, Sean told me Ryan would take care of it, as he was leaving town, Ryan showed up, said he’d call the A/C guys and have them come out, and he’d call me back after he got ahold of them to let me know when they are coming… that never happened… I still haven’t heard from Ryan 5 days later… my A/C is broken, and it’s the middle of July… Nothing but “oh they’ll call you” and then nobody ever calls… very irritating and wasteful of my time as I work full time I don’t have time for people to say they are going to show up and then don’t. Giving Meredith a five star review. No idea what it’s like working with the company itself just yet, but I can appreciate a well trained and helpful employee who is good with customers and makes you feel like your complaint was heard while working with you.
