I take great pleasure in writing a review of Dr Shabnam Khoie, DO, on behalf of my wife, Sherry.
In her role as a hospitalist at SCL, Dr Khoie visited my wife several times during her hospital stay.
As a component of my wife's in-house follow-up care after two recent surgeries, Dr Khoie offered clear, concise and professional medical advice and assistance.
Dr Khoie was empathic, compassionate and reassuring regarding my wife's long term recovery and extremely comforting to her throughout her hospitalization.

Two doctors from this group treated me during a recent hospitalization.

Dr. Michal Kazimir was excellent, explained the approach to care clearly and made sure my questions were answered.

Dr. Marcus Oginsky could not have been more different. He was incredibly patronizing. I had to assert myself to even get a chance to ask any questions with him, which he would then ignore and fail to answer. He did little more than blame me for the complications that landed me in the hospital, tell me the basics of what he was doing (without answering questions about it), and even felt the need to bad mouth my insurance company in the process.
