I am so glad I found John. I struggle singing in front of others and the space that he created is really welcoming and warm. I had a previous experience with another instructor and when I left her lesson I remember feeling embarrassed. Lessons with John left me feeling lighter, more relaxed and motivated to keep going. I really appreciate having the chance to work on my voice with someone who I respect both as a human and coach. I think he is extremely talented. I just finished a package of 4 lessons and look forward to continuing the journey. Thank you John.

Updating my review from 3 years ago to say that I am still going to John for lessons, but now have transitioned into recording lessons! He is fantastic and I still highly recommend him.I have been going to singing and guitar lessons with John for many years, and he is fantastic. He allows you to learn at your own pace, and he is flexible. He is supportive and patient. I honestly don't practice as often as I should, and this always stressed me out when I was younger and taking lessons. People don't believe me when I say that every human being can sing in tune, it's in our genetic make-up! John is the one that not only gave me this piece of wisdom, but actually made it come true for me. I might be a bit different than many people in that I was never afraid to sing. I always knew I didn't have a great voice, but I thought it was passable. The worst part of singing lessons occurred pretty early on when I started to develop an "ear," and realized that I was not singing in tune at all.
