Korl tattoo shop

This review is based on my initial consultation and first tattoo session with Nikolay. I still have two more sessions to go and will update my review as we finish the piece.

This is my very first tattoo, so I was definitely nervous about the process and had no idea what to expect. From my first contact with Nikolay through the end of my first session, the experience has been amazing.

Nikolay was immediately responsive to my initial inquiry and quickly set up a free in-person consultation. During the consultation, he was attentive, listened to everything I wanted, and took the time to understand the overall vision for my tattoo. I was able to schedule my first session a little over a month later.

While waiting for that first session, I was extremely excited and probably bombarded Nikolay with a million texts, ideas, and changes. He was incredibly patient and professional throughout the entire process. He also wasn’t afraid to steer me in a different direction when needed to make sure the design would not only look incredible now, but also age well over time. I really appreciated that.

At my first session, Nikolay spent a lot of time getting the placement and size exactly right. We repositioned the stencil multiple times until everything looked perfect. You can tell he genuinely cares about his work and isn’t going to rush anything just to get started. He wants the best possible final result.

I sat for about five hours during my first session, and Nikolay was also just an awesome person to talk to and get to know. His tattooing process was extremely detailed and thorough, and I could not be happier with how the piece is progressing.

Nikolay is truly a master of his craft. If you’re looking for an incredible artist who understands color, composition, and illustrative design, I can’t recommend him enough. I’m already looking forward to my next two sessions and seeing the finished piece!

The shop itself also has a great atmosphere and is extremely clean. Nikolay has snacks, drinks, and everything you could need to stay comfortable during a long session.

For someone getting their very first tattoo, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Korl is an amazing tattoo artist and this shop as a whole was awesome. While I took a break getting my tattoo, I walked around a bit and everybody getting work done was getting amazing pieces. Quality artists here!

Got in touch with Nikolay and discussed my tattoo. He is a very professional artist who does excellent work and is very knowledgeable. Nikolay also ensured that my comfort was the priority throughout the tattooing process. The shop was also extremely clean. I couldn't be happier with how my Doberman tattoo came out. I will definitely be back to have more pieces tattooed. Highly recommend!!
