About Harmonist Sanctuary
Harmonist Sanctuary is a unique and aesthetically stunning space offering a variety of yoga and dance classes. The sanctuary features moon salutation (Chandra Namaskar) and restorative yoga classes led by Gene, known for his kindness and calmness. Traci, the welcoming instructor, leads dance classes that are both fun and challenging. The space also has a full professional kitchen available for events. Classes are donation-based, and the instructors are warm and inviting. Customers praise the calming and comfortable atmosphere of the sanctuary, which leaves them feeling energized, centered, and grateful after their practice. The restorative yoga class with Gene, in particular, is highly recommended, with a long guided meditation at the end that helps participants feel very calm and grounded.
This place is one of a kind. It feels as though gentleness and support have been built within these walls. It’s welcoming with classes and events that are traditional and unique blends of ritual and sacred life lessons. this was my first time here and it is a beautiful clean space. The Nedra yoga I took with Jean on Monday night was like a perfect way to kick off the week. Very nurturing and relaxing atmosphere. I also enjoyed the reading from the Bhagvad Gita
Absolutely wonderful place! I am recovering from spinal surgery and need to ease back into yoga. Kalki was a great instructor who took time to ensure I was comfortable and could perform various poses, offering alternatives for those I couldn’t do due to recovery. I will definitely return. Their prices are excellent and accessible (especially given how expensive some studios are).
The building is also very welcoming and peaceful. They did an excellent job designing the space.
