I was new to laser hair removal and after searching online and calling several spas in the Denver, CO area, I decided to try out Gleam Med Spa. I came in wanting laser hair removal on my facial hair and front of neck hair. This is important to me as I am transgender and want to present more feminine.

Sammi was my specialist and she is amazing! She talked me through the science behind the treatment, was transparent with the pricing (competitive, reasonable rates from what I have seen online). She made me feel secure and comfortable with my decision. The laser did sting (as expected), but I am thankful that Sammi was my specialist as her personable and charming attitude made the process that much easier. I am a wimp when it comes to pain and this was no different.

The promotion they gave me as a first timer was fantastic. I learned this is an independent spa which explains how thoughtful the entire staff was. For somebody transitioning, I was made to feel extremely welcome here and would recommend it to anybody looking to get hair removed.“

“Solidly mediocre and the price matches. This place has potential, but the quality is inconsistent in the sense I have to tell techs “please do cuticle care. Seriously, do it before you paint my nails, otherwise it will look like crap. Please make sure my nails are even, etc”. With that being said, I have had these same problems at other salons. the difference is this place is appropriately priced and I really appreciate not getting ripped off financially for a mediocre job just because the salon itself is ‘nicely decorated’. My gel nails have NOT CHIPPED AT ALL. And my builder gel always looks decent. I’ve been to a handful of techs; so far, I recommend Daniel and Nikki for their attention to detail, generally consistent quality, and ability to listen to my feedback and get the results I’ve asked for. The rest of the techs are hit and miss, but I haven’t had a terrible experience yet.“
