excellent neighborhood barber shop with hip modern aesthetic and personnel. they're very nice and accommodating. technical cuts with all the latest tools. make an afternoon of it. excellent coffee shop, restaurant, and butcher shop right next door. short walk to cheeseman park or the botanical gardens

First visit, definitely not my last. I found Barber Theory through their website and tried booking an appointment online via Booksy. I didn't realize I needed an account, so I thought I had secured a time--but it didn't go through. The owner was incredibly gracious, squeezing me in despite the mix-up. That alone speaks volumes about their professionalism. The vibe inside is young, energetic, loud (in a good way), and effortlessly cool. It's a small, all-white space with a long white bench and four barber chairs. I didn't see any hair-washing sinks, but what they might lack in amenities they more than make up for in skill. Cool spot!

John is cutting edge in his craft. His Sykes are different from all others I have seen. I definitely recommend Barber Theory if you want a cut/style that makes a statement about who you are.
