I bought myself the new client 4 Classes pack, and I cancelled every single one of them due to sickness. They were super nice about it lol and I love that they offer such an epic trial. Classes of varying levels, I'm so grateful there is a studio like this that leaves the opportunity open. When I'm not sick I am looking forward to attending :)
Used to come to the half time jazz class but the drop in rate used to be $20 and has gone up to almost $30, which is absurd. Unfortunately will have to find another studio with adult classes.12/22/21: Well tried to give this studio another chance but at $28 a drop in(way too pricey still), I found myself frustrated with this place again. Really exceptional studio. The instructors are exceptionally talented dancers, but also talented instructors - which is a whole other skill set. Over the years I have really appreciated the balance many of the beginner/intermediate classes strike: warm, welcoming, and affirming, while still pushing participants to improve as dancers. Something I've noted about other adult dance studios in the area is a sort of passive attitude towards dancers who might not be in peak shape or able to perform at a professional level. At Dance2b, they are quick to remember your name and any other details, then provide level- and ability-appropriate feedback. (David, in particular, is standout in his ability to offer critiques in a constructive and upbeat way!)One point I will surface is that many of these reviews are from pre-pandemic. I've certainly appreciated the steps to keep the studio safe and sanitary. However, one pandemic change, the removal of the unlimited class pricing package has been a bummer. Like many professionals, my schedule can be pretty up in the air, so the flexibility of that option without expiry was really great. My gut is that this option was initially removed to ensure that distancing measures were appropriate, but it would be great to see it back soon.
