About Colorado Photographic Arts Center
Colorado Photographic Arts Center is a renowned nonprofit organization in Denver dedicated to the art of photography. Founded in 1963, it serves as a resource center for photographers to learn new skills, pursue their artistic vision, and build a community. The center hosts high-quality exhibitions showcasing contemporary photography from local and national artists, as well as a working darkroom and digital lab for photographers to use onsite. Visitors can enjoy the gallery, permanent collection of photographs, and temporary exhibits without a fee. The center also offers workshops, classes, and membership opportunities. With a warm and welcoming community, CPAC is a must-visit destination for photographers and photography enthusiasts.
The Colorado Photographic Arts Center is very supportive of Colorado photographers at all skill levels and from varied backgrounds. I became acquainted with them through their Veterans Workshop Series and have become very involved in the CPAC community. So many great resources and people! Can't say enough good things about them!
