Update: still love this school!!!!
My 15 year old daughter and I had our trial lesson here today. Signed up for a year. Such a great atmosphere a discipline here. Exactly what I was look8ng for and way more affordable than I could have imagined. We had so much fun! Annie and Billy were fantastic and explained everything so thoroughly. We can't wait to go back for our next class and be a part ot this amazing community!!!!!!
I love it here. I tried multiple free classes at other places to get the feel of the vibes and the community, this was the only place where I actually wanted to come back. The heavy bag and cage classes are perfect before the Krav class. Ian and Gary kick our asses for those 30min, then straight into that 45min Krav class. The coaches don’t rush the classes and if I feel awkward or uncoordinated they step in to make sure I understand and feel comfortable with whatever I’m struggling with. And Billy is great, friendly and welcoming. Annie is badass and they have book club! Totally shocked me, last thing I expected. I have attended 6 or 7 classes now, and it's 1) A great workout; 2) A fun environment; and 3) A place I feel like I can learn a martial art safely but with real applicable skills for self-defense if i ever need.
I love when they bring out props to learn defense and take downs of guns and knives. I would never have had an idea of it before these classes.
