About City Bark Denver
City Bark Denver is a clean and spacious facility that offers daycare and boarding services for dogs. The staff is highly praised for being attentive, personable, and understanding of dogs' needs, especially those who may be anxious. Owners appreciate the ability to watch their dogs play through webcams and feel confident leaving their pets in the capable hands of the staff. City Bark is known for its accommodating nature, even when pick-up times are close to closing. However, recent reviews mention some staffing issues that have caused confusion with billing and services, leading to longer wait times and obscure charges. Despite this, the staff remains friendly, and many customers feel their dogs receive good care and attention, particularly from the staff who recognize each dog and know their names. The facility has improved recently and is now more organized. Customers also note that their pets enjoy their time there, and the place has new, clean amenities for cats and dogs alike. Overall, City Bark Denver continues to be a good option for pet owners, offering a safe and caring environment for their pets.
My dog loves coming to City Bark! It's nice being able to check in midday with the cameras they have setup. The staff are welcoming and remember his name :) There are different rooms - indoor and outdoor- and they even have a pool for swim time. This is great as some of the other daycare spots we've tried is primarily indoors.
Sometimes there is a line for dropoff/ pickup, but that's usually just at peak time. Would recommend.
We needed a place to tuck our cat away for a day while we moved houses and this was perfect. Convenient, inexpensive, and a delightful staff. The fact that he seemed to be pretty blase about me picking him up at the end of the day tells me he enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend. Will do again.
[edit] Understaffed and higher turnover than many others which leads to staff not really knowing procedure, causing up to 20min wait times, obscure charges, and not honoring reasonable requests or expectations. Pressures for tips at checkouts but it’s unclear if my dog actually gets what’s agreed on (like food specifics or pool time). Everyone is friendly and it’s still a good option, but I’m better off making the drive to the many options in surrounding areas for better service at a better price.
