I purchased a warranty for my freezer, and when the ice maker stopped working I was assigned to Brand Source Service. I first contacted them over five weeks ago. To their credit, the initial technician visit was prompt and the diagnosis was quick—they immediately identified that the freezer door needed to be replaced, which I appreciated.
However, the experience went downhill from there. When the replacement door was installed, it was very clearly used and in poor condition. The door was dusty and dirty, had permanent marker writing that cannot be removed, leftover adhesive, and generally looked old and gross—completely unacceptable for a “replacement”...read full review
We understand that not everything goes as we would like, sometimes there’s a bump in the road, but the important part is how we handle it. Some companies let their ego get in the way and handle things the way they want to, but successful businesses know that they have to do what it takes to make things right, no matter how seemingly insignificant that problem may seem to them, it was a big enough problem that the customer was unhappy.This is one of those cases. I had a problem and Brand Source reached out to resolve the problem, and they did whatever it took to fix the issue. Took over 2 months to get on the schedule. It is really hard to get a hold of this company on the phone. Best bet it to request an appointmnet online, and pray you are home to answer the phone when they return your call, if not it could take a MONTH just to talk to someone, then wait another 3-4 weeks for an appointment. They ordered a new part for my dishwasher. But during the repair appointment, claims is my water pressure and I need a plumber, not the end of the world, just wish I hasn't already waited 2 months to still be without a dishwasher. My biggiest issue is they scracthed my hardwood floors, and broke off one of the attachment arms on my dishwasher. They couldn't...read full review
