I hired Alpaca Roofing for my roof replacement after interviewing five roofing companies. Their bid was a competitive offer and included higher quality shingles and more work items. In my decision-making process, I emailed them, spoke to them over the phone and met with them in person. They took the time to patiently explain everything and answer my many questions. It was clear that both Alfonso and Guillermo, co-owners of the company were very knowledgeable, committed to excellent customer service, and would stand by their work. I just wanted to post a review to share my amazing experience with Alpaca Roofing, specifically Guillermo. Not only am I impressed with the level of education (PhD), but with how he earned my trust. This is sadly a business where there is not a lot of that. They can easily tell the every day homeowner they need tens of thousands of $ of work and we’re at their mercy. I had concerns about needing a new roof, as well as structural issues in the crawl space. He checked everything out, including go through the entire teeny crawlspace, and let me know everything was fine. There was a small issue with a vent in my roof, which would be like, a $500 fix, but his suggestion... read full review
