I brought a purse in and went over in great detail that the hardware that came originally with the purse handle was faulty. I had been to other shoe repair places. He said he could replace the hardware. I paid him $20 (you have to pay when you drop off the item that needs to be repaired). He assured me that he could replace the hardware and use something strong enough that the handle wouldn’t come apart. I left the purse there for 2 weeks. I picked it up today. He didn’t replace the hardware, just screwed it in (for $20). I explained that this was the opposite of what we discussed. He offered no solutions. It will break after the first couple of uses.
