We recently completed a 15,098 square foot build-out with Wells and West at the Wells Fargo building in Colorado Springs, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the start, their proposal stood out—it was exceptionally detailed and thorough, leaving nothing to question. After speaking with their past clients, I felt confident we'd chosen the right partner.
Throughout the project, Wells and West exceeded expectations at every turn. Weekly meetings kept us informed, and when construction challenges inevitably arose, they proactively presented alternative solutions while remaining budget-conscious. They stayed on schedule whenever possible, demonstrating strong project management and accountability.
Every team member was outstanding. Project Manager Robert Nebrig and Superintendent Maury Smith, along with all their subcontractors, were professional, skilled, and genuinely pleasant to work with. What truly set them apart was their approachability—I never felt dismissed when asking questions. Instead, they patiently guided me through decisions and proactively flagged items that needed my attention.
I wholeheartedly recommend Wells and West and would use them again without hesitation for future projects.

Wells and West has done construction work for us at multiple electrical substations in the city, with work ranging from equipment support piers to concrete drive aprons to retaining walls. Substations are potentially dangerous locations to work in, and Wells and West's employees have followed proper safety protocols and make sure to have safety plans and JHA's put together before construction starts. The work has been completed on-time, and has been built to the required specifications.Service: General construction

Whoever is answering your phones does not have a clue on what their doing. When calling to speak to a manager or project manager the receptionist has no clue on what she's doing or who to transfer the call to? If you want better business from potential clients and contractors, please give your employees better training before they answer calls it's a lot more efficient and will help your business grow.

Wells and West was an excellent selection to help guide our church, Cragmor Christian Reformed, through a significant renovation process to include adding an elevator. They focused on the three key areas of scope, schedule, and cost and remained true to all three while ensuring quality work. The scope of the project was routinely examined to meet all major objectives. The schedule flexed only when influenced by outside forces (COVID) that we could not control. Their focus on cost ensured that we remained within budget. Excellent communications throughout the process kept everyone informed and aware of issues as they arose. Weekly walk-throughs and meetings addressed minor points before they became issues. The on-site foreman and construction manager were always available for any questions on a daily basis. It truly felt like a team effort from beginning to end. I would highly recommend working with Wells and West for any construction project.Services: General construction

Wells & West was the general contractor for a 3-phase rehabilitation of an 1890s Victorian farmhouse in El Paso County. This process was spread out over four years and they were responsible for choosing the subcontractors and working with a supervising architect. The firm was easy to work with, stayed within budget, chose wonderful subcontractors, and in general provided an overall A+ work environment. I highly recommend them!!Services: General construction
