The Community Barbershop, part of this initiative, is known for its high-end, low-cost haircuts, trims, shaves, and even deep tissue massages. Customers are greeted by knowledgeable, skilled barbers who provide a personalized experience. The shop also plays a vital role in supporting job readiness, offering free haircuts twice a month and assistance with job training, including forklift certification. Many clients express gratitude for the outstanding help and guidance received during transitional periods in their lives. In addition to barber services, Colorado Springs Works features a tattoo parlor, clothing boutique, and various classes that cater to professional development and essential document acquisition. The staff is described as amazing, considerate, and able to relate due to their own experiences, making the environment welcoming and supportive.
Extremely grateful for Anchor Academy and the staff working there. As a WAGEES partner with Parole, they have helped me reintegrate back into normalcy after serving 2 years in the Department of Corrections.
They offer 2 FREE haircuts by some extremely talented barbers. From casual wear to business professional, they have a relatively large selection of FREE clothing available at all times in all sizes for both men and women. They also purchased all of the brand new power tools that I needed for my job and actually gave me a $50 Visa gift card as an incentive for gaining employment!

Great place for helping others out if need be. They help with job training and cloths and they do free haircuts twice a month for job readiness. You can get your forklift certification as well they will help if you want the help.
Today I just got a haircut fromm man Chris here he is really good patient and very meticulous about his work
I recommend him to anyone looking to get shaped up ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Five stars. I will be going back to him.
I personally have received OUTSTANDING HELP & GUIDANCE through numerous staff upon my reintegration into the community which is #1 in terms of coming home and getting on your feet or just learning to start over. They offer many services All in one location
