Nice museum that provides a history of local rail, light rail, and trolley use in Colorado Springs and beyond. Friendly docents who take the time to explain things and accommodate small children as well as older children and adults. My advice is to visit on a weekday when it's less crowded.
I didn't know what to expect but my daughter loves trolleys so we stopped in. The museum part is small but a local historian gives you the history of the building and local trolleys. Following that is a tour of their shop and in process restorations as well as the trolleys outside. The tour finishes with a short ride in a working trolley on their test track. Pleasantly surprised.
Absolutely the highlight of our trip to Colorado Springs. So much fun for any train fan. Lots of hands-on for the kids and just the right amount of history for everyone.
