If you are an advanced yogi and want to elevate your practice during your session, do not come to here. Yoga is your practice you shouldn't be restricted by instructors if you want to explore modifications of the same pose in a group setting . After the session I was approached by the instructor in front of other students and reprimanded for my modifications to poses.

Disappointed Experience at Hot Yoga with owner/instructor MikeI recently attended a hot yoga (bikram) class at Hot on Yoga instructed by Mike the owner and operator of the studio. I must express my profound disappointment with the experience. As someone who believes in the benefits of Bikram and was eager to return to the mat after a hiatus due to medical reasons, I was hopeful for a positive and supportive environment.Unfortunately, what I encountered was far from it. Mike's teaching style reflects an antiquated Anglo Saxon approach to yoga, devoid of the true essence and fundamentals of the practice. In a world where there are two distinct cultures within yoga, Mike unmistakably falls into the category that has stripped away the essence of what yoga should embody.During the class, I began feeling lightheaded and tight, signs that my body was indicating a need for modification and rest. However, instead of offering empathy, compassion, or understanding, I was met with dismissiveness. Mike's interruption mid-class, suggesting that I must be in the wrong class because I was engaging in restorative practices, was not only unwarranted but also indicative of a severe lack of awareness regarding one's personal practice.Having practiced in numerous reputable yoga studios across the country, I've always been encouraged to listen to my body, modify when necessary, and take breaks as needed. Mike, however, seemed to have missed the memo entirely, failing to grasp the essence of what an individual's practice truly entails. In conclusion, my experience at Hot on Yoga with Mike as the instructor AND OWNER was profoundly disheartening, and I have no intention of returning. It is my sincere hope that Mike reevaluates his approach to teaching and perhaps considers a refresher course in Asana practices to better serve his students' needs.

If you’re looking for a class or studio that is truly for everyone (the way yoga is supposed to be), this is not the place for you. This studio is fatphobic, touches students without consent, and kicks students out of classes if they use modifications for poses or slow down to support themselves.Yoga is supposed to be for everyone, regardless of level. If someone comes to a hot yoga class and gets light headed, shouldn’t they be allowed to slow down or take child’s pose? How dare you make students, beginners and advanced practitioners alike, feel as though they don’t belong. Shame on you.

Hot On Yoga is by far among the best studios out there. The amazing staff, the cleanliness, the reception area, and the studio itself. Well thought out and the best I’ve been in!

I regret starting 3 yrs ago, I have been passing by this HOY for 3yrs and been just too coward to go.. This year I pull out all my courage to step in, I signed up for their $30 7days new student unlimited Yoga and I love it... The heat and sweat is addicting, the staff are so hospitable, and knowledgeable. The yogis are super nice, yesterday I purchased my one month membership.. Planning to
