Installers are respectful, removing shoes and being mindful of pets, and have been known to go above and beyond. The office personnel is very helpful and quick to answer. However, some customers report frustration with scheduling and communication. Issues include appointments being rescheduled, a lack of returned calls, and difficulty reaching the company, described as a tight timeline that required persistent effort to resolve. We bought carpet through The Home Depot and HOM Solutions was contracted to do the installation. We scheduled the installation the same day measurements were taken and there was about a two week wait. We got a notification the day before the installers arrived confirming the time of arrival. They arrived on time, took me out to their truck to confirm the carpet and pad were correct, and talked me through what transition pieces would work best. Installation time took a little less than 4 hours for 500 sq ft and 12 stairs. They made sure to clean the floor before laying the pad and vacuumed the new carpet afterwards.
I was quite nervous about my carpet install (ordered at Home Depot) after reading the reviews here, but everything went smoothly and I felt I should give people some hope. I missed my initial scheduling phone call and couldn’t get ahold of anyone or get through to leave a voicemail or anything when I tried to call back multiple times, which worried me. But I was able to reach my service expert within 24 hours of that missed call, which really isn’t unreasonable. I was scheduled for two weeks out.

It started with some frustration with our institution being rescheduled for rain that never came. As we were on a tight timeline, this was very frustrating. During the new install day, the gentleman was quick and friendly. We stumbled upon a situation with our stairs needing a repair, and the gentleman came back quickly to finish the installation once the repair was completed.
