Glad I was able to get an appointment before Christmas. Being new to wood fireplaces with a new home I wanted to make sure everything was good to go before use. Along with cleaning he performed a full multi-point inspection of the fireplace which included a camera through the chimney. He documented all inspection points with a concise paper report. Fortunately there were no major issues found. How often do you need a chimney sweep? Well turns out you should use one at least every year! The things you learn sometimes the hard way after you buy your first home.
