Lovely scenery. Perfect horses for our very novice group. Very attentive guide who visited with us and answered questions from our young grandkids. Saw a fawn on our 8:30am ride, just off the trail. We had a great time and want to go back. When we do, it will be with the Triangle 3.
Wow! What a great day! This is a 4th generation, family owned business. First we met grandpa Ray. He walked over to us while we were waiting to get signed up. The stories from this Steamboat legend were priceless. He cracks up when he said he was a city boy bec he was born and raised in downtown Steamboat. He was an Olympic athlete as well and rode all his life until 2 years ago when he fell off a horse and sustained serious injuries. His grandson, Justin, took us on our half day ride. Fantastic experience at a generations old ranch North of Steamboat. The family that runs the place are so nice. Patriarch Ray Heidi came out to say hi and talk.
Healthy, calm horses. Beautiful country right outside of the stables. We did the 2 hour trail ride. It's our second summer in a row riding at Del's. We live in Steamboat. Highly recommended. Don't forget to stop and have ice cream at the Clark Store afterwards.
