My instructor Dean was so awesome. I went to a self defense class for the first time ever and was feeling a little nervous, but Dean was so helpful and positive. I enjoyed the class and had a great time.

I’ve been working with the founder of competitive edge mixed martial arts for 6 weeks now. My children attended classes while we did weekly parenting coaching. I highly recommend his services especially for anyone who would like to build better connection and cooperation with their kids. Scott’s approach is different then most as he incorporates the skills and thought process of a coach and then applies them to changing behavior in a child by changing the mindset and approach of the parent when interacting with the child. This has proven to be very helpful to me and my family and I’m sure others could also benefit from his guidance and techniques.

Dean (pronounced Da-on) AKA Mr. K, and his team of coaches/leaders are top notch! I can tell that he puts a lot of time and effort into training his coaches/leaders, and subsequently, they have taken on that same level of wisdom and leadership that Mr. K has. The way they build the kiddos up, encourage, challenge, and instruct them, it increase their discipline and bolsters their confidence.
