AdventHealth Center for Therapy at AdventHealth Castle Rock Hospital

I’ve had nothing but horrible experiences at this hospital and any other adventhealth hospital I’ve ever been to. Avoid at all costs

I must say that in the past I have had some reservations about this hospital but had to report on this recent visit at Advent Health. This past Friday, I was rushed to the ER with a life threatening emergency. At first, we all weren't sure of my condition but noticed the amount of blood that I was losing. Without giving full details of my condition, I want to personally thank Nurse Britney in the ER who noticed how much blood I was losing by measuring it. This one moment is when doctors and nurses realized how severe my condition really was. They all acted accordingly and moved to mitigate the emergency. I experienced an overall feeling of concern from the staff as they acted to save my life. I started to vagul but they stabilized me with two blood transfusions and rushed me into emergency surgery. After that, I was admitted into the ICU. I also want to personally thank Nurse Mike in the ICU for his amazing, experienced, kind, skillful, patient and reassuring approach to me. Your bed side manners are truly remarkable and your 32 years of service is definitely noticeable. Thank You Very Much!

I want to commend the entire staff of the Advent-Health Center for Rehabilitation - Physical Therapy Group in the Alexander Bldg. for exceptional, caring service and outstanding results involving my three separate physician referrals over the past 24 months. I especially want to commend Dr. Peter Van Doren for extensive physical therapy rehab following my hip fracture. After release from a rehab hospital, I was marginally functional. Following Dr. Van Doren's rehab PT, I am now walking 15 miles a week, pain free. What makes Dr. Van Doren unique is, when one is unable to perform an exercise in a particular way, his extensive expertise immediately shifts to a Plan B and sometimes even a Plan C as work-arounds to achieve the desired outcome. The bottom line is he always gets results! More recently, Dr. Van Doren treated me for sciatic joint pain and also bone on bone knee pain. Following injections by my ortho Dr., and a PM&R Dr., combined with their physician-ordered PT have again restored full functionality, and I'm pain free.

This establishment has 2 locations both of which are not worth investing time in, in hopes for rehabilitation. They are understaffed, unfriendly, and cancel appointments often the day of. ( B/C requests aren't sent out in a timely manner.) The front office "gate keepers" are unfriendly, condescending,, and inconsiderate. In an effort to save anyone else their time, do not bother investing anything at these 2 clinics. Beyond disappointing

We had our son in March and had incredible care from the staff. Everyone was so kind and friendly- and most importantly focused on what was best for me and my son as I faced complications after his delivery. Nurses Claire and Margaret went above and beyond to provide the best care possible. We would have been lost without them. Claire is an incredible nurse and was invaluable to my husband and I during a very high stress situation.

I have received excellent care at Centura Health Center. I have seen both Peter and Craig. The treatment and care have been great, as well as the communication. It's nice to have such great care in Castle Rock.

I was referred by my Dr and ended up seeing Maggie Brown. She is wonderful and has helped me tremendously. I’ve had two other physical therapists at another hospital. One didn’t do anything to help, and the other made my issues worse. I didn’t feel very optimistic about physical therapy until I met with Maggie. In fact, I’d given up hope. She’s almost got me running again, which is a huge thing. I haven’t been able to run for years.

Maggie Brown is Godsend! She was an absolute delight to work with. She cured my pelvic floor issues in no time. She not only did that but corrected so many things in my musculoskeletal system in the process. I would definitely recommend her.

BEWARE! Billing department falsely billed me and when the bills were updated 2 years later they were sent to collections even though they admitted they were wrong! They over billed me over 3k for a hospital bill! The care was substandard and staff was unattentively.

I have to say this place is the place to go for physical therapy. I have been to another PT place that seemed to blame me for the problem of my lower back pain when in fact it was not. Olga finally told me what was really going on. After 3+ years of back pain, I finally find that I have a slight tilt in my pelvis, on the left side. Both Olga and Matt help me recover and I finally feel myself healing. I can not express the appreciation I feel from them both. They were great to just talk to and great on giving me advice to help better my lifestyle. I no longer feel crazy and feel relieved that my problem was fixable. Though, I am not completely 100%, I am confident that I will reach it very soon with the information and exercises that they instructed me to do. Thank you to Olga and Matt, you guys are AWESOME! I highly recommend these two to help you get back on track.
