I am a mom, pushing 40, getting back to dance after several years. I chose this studio by the recommendation of a friend, although I was a bit nervous (I'm not the fit 20-something I once was!). These folks are great. It is a welcoming environment with professionals who offer challenging and fun classes. I recommend this place to anyone. My daughter is also in the kids' hip hop, and she's having a great time.
After watching several Streetside Performances, our then 5th grade daughter decided to take some classes at the studio. She was immediately accepted in one of the most supportive and talented communities in Boulder. She is now in her 3rd year of troupe and her level of confidence (and dance ability) has skyrocketed. It's beautiful to see. Rico, the founder, is an upbeat, modest, and uber talented dancer who has danced with Micheal Jackson, among other greats, and his beginner class will have you feeling so good you won't want to leave.
