He is a true old-school craftsman who takes great pride in his work, known for his meticulous attention to detail and his modern take on classic styles. He handles every session himself, one person at a time, using a multi-dimensional mirror technique to sculpt hair to individual head shapes. His background as an art student is evident in his attention to form and detailed process. The results are consistently high quality, with cuts that often need almost no styling or product, even for difficult hair types. He is excellent: friendly, affordable, and entertaining, often playing good music. Appointments are only made online, and a session typically takes about 60 minutes.
This was the first haircut I’ve ever had that needed almost no styling or product. Roger nailed the cut perfectly on its own. I have difficult hair that grows in different directions and sticks straight out (Asian hair), and it’s rare to find someone who can handle it well. You can tell Roger truly cares about his craft. He doesn’t stop until everything is just right. I’ve been to several highly rated barbers in Boulder, but the results were often underwhelming. Maybe 1 out of every 20 barbers gets my hair right. Roger is that rare 5%.
Roger is a true- old school craftsman who takes great pride in his work. I’ve been getting my haircuts with Roger for more than 15 years. For the man who is looking for a great haircut, I whole heartedly recommend Roger. He knows music and singers like no other, so that is a great topic and he plays good music throughout. Don’t be in a rush. Plan on 60 minutes.
Roger's attention to detail is unmatched. It's the best hair cut and or beard trim you can get in town, and he charges a very reasonable price. Go see him, you won't be disappointed!
