In case you need a reminder that good and kind people still exist in this world: I found Jacob in my hour of need. Just had surgery and hadn’t been able to wash my hair yet, got to him looking like a whole greaseball. I had called probably 5 different places and nobody could squeeze me in just for a hair wash, but he said hey, if you can get here I can get you washed quickly (I think while his actual client had her dye processing). He met me with sympathy, kindness, and absolutely no judgement on the state of my hair. Jacob is the stylist I have been hoping to find for years! I have had a hard time finding somebody in Boulder that can create a “lived in” look while also significantly lightening my hair to blonde. It takes a great deal of talent to combine multiple techniques (highlights, balayage, root blend, etc) to achieve this look while also ensuring that my hair remains healthy in the long term. This was a high end, complex service, and he nailed it! Plus, the studio is clean and comfortable, and Jacob is pleasant and kind.

Jacob is a true expert when it comes to color and cuts. He brings deep expertise and consults thoughtfully to ensure he understands what you want and then tells you what's possible so that you are aligned on expectations. I appreciate his integrity and willingness to say no when something will damage your hair and that he takes into account both your budget and what will look best on you and not just what's trendy. I'm a brunette and I left with the best color I've had, it looks completely natural only better! Thank you Jacob!
