Al delivered one of the best haircuts I have ever had in my 72 years. Most of it was done by hand with a comb and scissors . Al is a wonderful conversationalist. He shared some wonderful stories of his family and their growing up. Highly recommended. God Bless
Started going to Al's over 20 years ago after an article in the Denver Post referring to his art/skill/profession...Has always kept me feeling 'current' ...not stuck in a time warp. Easy to manage...evolving from professional to retired ; - )
I’ve been coming to Al’s since I was a freshman at CU (think my first cut was Oct. 1995), back when Al’s replaced Jack’s, Alan had blonde hair and was the lone employee. I moved away from Boulder in 2002, but still try to get an appointment with Al when I’m in BCO for work or family. It’s been nothing but great work from a great guy, so yes… Highly recommend.
