Delivery driver knocked on my door exactly within the delivery window, was super nice, then rolled the pallet all the way from the street to my garage door (couldn't park down my street since it dead ends). Was super friendly while I quickly I checked that everything was there and not damaged. Only thing that could make this even better is if they called and gave a heads up, or ran into problems, but my phone number was not on the delivery ticket, so there's no way the driver would have been able to call me. But thankfully no issues!
I have had nothing but attitude and lack of cooperation from freight companies in the past, but R&L was anything but. They were so kind and accommodating. My delivery was scheduled for a time when I was out of town. The driver called me from outside my house. They took the 6 pallets back to their warehouse and rescheduled me for the following business day without so much as sigh. Through the process, I dealt with four separate people from separate departments and every one of them was kind and courteous. The drivers were also amazing. I don’t expect much from a freight carrier but I was pleasantly surprised by R&L and felt the experience was worthy of a review.
They delivered our RTA cabinets from Lily Ann Cabinets. Transportation did take much longer than expected based on initial delivery date.
No damage and 4 pallets tucked away in the garage without any issues.
Only knock is the website does not give an accurate delivery date for private residence. That date pushed out as the load was being trucked from MI to CO. It adjusted one last time once it was at their depot near Denver. They showed up the next business day without any further notice. Glad someone was home, or they would have been left in the driveway. A little better communication on delivery would have been appreciated.
