I want to say thank you to the entire team at kindred. They answer the call light fast. My Case manager, Margaret,has been amazing, they helped find a rehab center that would work with me. She calls my wife and update her on my process. I want to shoutout a few people who have been on my care team and made a significant difference throughout my proocess. Thank you,Margret, Tori, Steve and Nicole. You guys are doing an incredible job and i wanna say, keep up with the good work.
I have been a patient here for 32 days. I have been here for a wound on my left inner groin. I have not had any problems with staff. They are attentive and they take care of your needs. I would recommend coming here if you have even a small wound, because every wound is the same to them. they take care of you the same as any other patient. I still have a few more weeks here and I am going to miss the treatment in the Care that I got here when I leave.
I spent roughly one and a half months at this facility recovering from an amputation/infection. I required IV antibiotics, negative pressure wound therapy, observation, biweekly dressing changes, transportation to and from my doctor's office for follow-ups, and physical therapy before I was well enough to go home and finish healing completely.
In addition to all of this medical intervention, which was crucial to my recovery, I also had to eat, bathe, sleep, get dressed, have my room cleaned, and have some human interaction with other people besides the strictly medical interactions. kindred Hospital of Aurora provided all of that and more!
