SLV’s Speech Therapist Marla is the best I’ve ever seen and since I used to work in the medical field with therapists I’ve seen a lot. She kept digging, sending me for tests, talking to other providers, until they finally had a handle on what was going on with me and a game plan to help with my quality of life. I’m no longer scared when my wind pipe spasms closed, when I aspirate what I eat or drink, etc. Yes, as usual I’m a “complicated case” but she helped uncomplicate some of my problems.

We worked with Toby for a lot consolidation. He was very helpful and informative and knew exactly what the county was requesting where other surveyors didn't. I appreciate him helping us with our project and will come back if we need something else in the future. Keep in mind that everyone is very busy since the pandemic so just be patient and give enough time for correspondence.

I like my parents house, its built well but they lose a star for naming the street it's built on the same as the company because Google cannot or will not distinguish the difference between the 2 and GPS will take u to the company not my parents house EVERY TIME! It's stupid annoying trying to give new people directions ? ? and Google won't let me fix it because they think the road is the company ?
Outstanding group of folks! Asked them for materials, emailed them a Microsoft paint image of what our plans were to put a fence up in front of our new boat dealership. They were easy to talk too. What a terrific company. I spoke with Paul only this morning about fixing a sink issue i created btw. He was polite and friendly saying he'd get me on the schedule when possible. I received a call from Gabe another employee and hour later saying that they were sending someone already. I am not sure of the guy's name who came by, but he called me when he arrived and was easy to talk to and very thorough. This is the kind of service that will keep me coming to them for all future needs. I highly recommend.

I have used Valley Electric for a few different projects - lighting repair, installation, outlet installations, etc. They are always on time, very communicative, and do a quality job. In 2006 Alcon Construction installed my Raynor Garage Door. A few weeks back I had my first problem ever! I called on a Monday, on Tuesday 2 very awesome guys came out to my house and within 15 minutes they had my door operating properly again!! They performed some preventive maintenance and went on their way. I received the invoice today, just $72!! I highly recommended Alcon Construction, they are one of the long-standing companies in the Valley that we can trust without breaking the bank!

This year, I made the difficult decision to remove my front lawn and xeriscape it instead. I contacted Mortensen’s Landscape and Irrigation and was promptly given an estimate and the opportunity to pick out the materials I wanted for the job. The hardest part was choosing from the vast selection of rock and boulders! This morning, the crew arrived, unloaded their equipment and got right to work. By noon, the lawn was gone, the area leveled, the weed barrier down, most of the river rock put out, and the flagstone for the walkway in place. These young men were credibly patient and understanding when I asked if they would switch out one of the stones. Then they did the fill in and set the flagstone. Shortly after, the boulders arrived and they were, once again, exceedingly patient and kind to set them just where I wanted them. Each member of the crew paid close attention to detail. They cleaned up the job site beautifully. It all took less than six hours!!! The end result? More than I even dreamed! I could not be more pleased! They made sure everything was to my satisfaction before I paid the second half of the bill. That is how you do business! This area will now be extremely low maintenance and be much more water resource friendly! Growing up on a farm,I am well aware we have dirt that blows in and often brings gnarly little weed seeds that will eventually find their way into the rocks. But guess what…THAT HAPPENS!!!! That, folks, is why I hire a great weed control team to keep my property free of the little pests. So, if you are considering any landscaping projects, do NOT hesitate to contact Mortensen’s Landscape and Irrigation in Alamosa!
