Prompt and Excellent service by Brandon Davis of Russell's Heating & Air Conditioning. Brandon replaced a capacitor and added freon to our AC fan unit. We are members of the Russell's regular maintenance plan, so this repair demonstrated to us that we will get a quick response, a clear diagnosis with options, and a discounted cost for repair. Look no further for a great company for all your HVAC needs. They have serviced our system (we are signed up for annual maintenance on AC & heater) and now, they just sold us & installed a new system to replace our 25 yr old one, and we are so pleased. Customer satisfaction is their top priority. The techs are knowledgeable, professional, and prompt. The office is easy to get in touch with to schedule service. They have definitely won us over. You should give them a try too.
After reading their "reply to my review" it's clear this company is exactly what I found to be true. Not trustworthy and provides just the information they want to provide rather than the entire story. In regards to the $99 fee they charged when they came out to our home the other day, their "technician" never did a full inspection on our system nor even connected the testing equipment properly. Reviewing our camera footage with our HVAC company, it was clear their technician did a basic check then decided to quote the most expensive solutions rather than investigate the real cause. As far as "self diagnosis" on the condenser line, that was done by the HVAC company we use and we only allowed Russels to come back out as a trusted previous business we have used for almost a decade. Now that the former people we worked with at Russels are gone, the new people in charge have taken it to a level of integrity we can't recommend and are happy to be done with them. Lastly, the only rudeness was the person at Russels for trying to take advantage of a customer with misinformation and using "I'm new here sorry" but continuing to put us on hold while she had asked someone that knew the answers to provide her what to say. Sorry but that isn't an excuse to under quote and play games on the phone. Any customer would end a call when getting back and forth for 10 mins on a call with someone going in circles without providing any real pricing for a simple fee they have charged us in the past. We went against our better judgement and gave them one last opportunity to come out after that call to remedy the situation and it only reinforced our previous impression that we wasted time and this time money and felt like we were now out $99 for getting nothing but lied to. Our system works wonderfully now after a $50 repair that was done today and $400 to refill a small leak. The condenser leak was due to a crack in the pan that was never repaired from previous visited by Russels and was repaired. There was never a need to charge us in the past to "clear out the pvc line" when in fact it was only because the pan had a crack. So everyone that is the entire story. If someone gets upset and ask for a clear pricing guideline and isn't happy on the phone for being lied to, you can now see why.
