Healing and intense at the same time.
I studied Tuina which is the style of massage they do here. If you haven’t had a Chinese massage the culture is different and they are kind of more like car repair people and your the car. Meaning they aren’t focused on body autonomy but just trying to fix you up.
Don’t be surprised if the practitioner randomly will leave the room, answer the phone, another massage person will come in and speak loudly then leave. You will have your butt and boobs exposed and possibly be stood on or have the practitioner on the table for leverage. I treated myself to a 90 minute 4 hand massage which was a great experience. Both masseuses worked well and were synchronized. I highly recommend and I would give 5 stars however,
I had asked when I booked if they took credit cards and was told yes. I had planned to pay with a credit card and then add a tip in cash.
They told me credit card does not work because their machine had no internet. I did not have enough cash to pay the $200 for the masssge and give each the tip I had planned.
It became very uncomfortable as the one masseuse got upset because the tip was not enough.
Sadly, this changed the entire inexperience for me.
Amazing massages!! Love the location and they are extremely kind and wonderful people! Wouldn't go anywhere else!
