Shinobu is good with my slippery, straight hair. For the past three years, I either cut my own hair or I would try a salon, but they didn't do a good job or ended up closing. I'm happy that I found that does a good job. She also has great energy and is close to my house, but I would drive farther away if I had to.

I came to Shinobu because I've heard so many great things about her! She was very communicative and was able to accommodate my busy schedule. I visited her in her cute Irvine spot. It is very relaxing. She has lavender oil filling the room and it made for a great spa like experience. I got the permanent hair straightening treatment. Shinobu was very patient with my long and thick hair. She is very gentle I even went to sleep! I am so happy with the results. My hair looks and feels great. I highly recommend Shinobu. She is so sweet and I am so happy I have found a great stylist.

I'm so glad I found Shinobu through Yelp! I moved to Orange County from Los Angeles and needed to find a new stylist. I had not cut my hair at a salon in a year because of COVID - my hair was extremely uneven and damaged at the ends, and looked horrible. Shinobu was able to transform my hair, and cut it with so much care and precision. My hair looks 100 times better and I am so happy with the results! Definitely visit her for an awesome experience and haircut.

Since covid break out, my hair has been too long neglected. I tried to touch&trim by myself as watching youtube tutorial, but ended up disastrous. I was so desperate for professional hair stylist and so glad that I found Shinobu. Not only her shampoo with head massage was heavenly, she did amazing jobs on my hair. I am a happy customer, definitely recommend her!
