Sam came to clean our dryer vent ducts. He was wonderful. Sam was professional and knowledgeable. He brought everything he needed and was very efficient. Great customer service. Very good company!

This company is a Con contractor. They fool the home owner to replace wrong parts. Beginning estimation started to replace Ignition in $1971 finishing work same day. 2 hours later 2 other guys from the company came to check the furnace again. Estimation guy calledt me that the parts around the ignition was burned and out of order. So they have to replace 60% furnace part of my furnace. He admitted it was his fault for the wrong estimation. But original estimation would be no change. Also he couldn't do the job as a same day service because parts was not available. Next day 2 other new guys came to fix with new part. it was Nor Ignition or motors but control circuit board. The technision acted strange . he didn't change new part that he brought almost half an hour passed. So I ask "why you don't change the new part?" also I asked to leave my old part but they refused to leave. they insist it is their company policy. the job took only 45 minutes and charged me $2725 total in my credit card. Ofcause I called my bank on pending dispute

Our rental home had the heater and hot water heater die within days of each other. Universal was AMAZING and came out right away. It was cold and our tenants were expecting a baby. Their team exceeded our expectations! We will definitely be using them again!

Very happy with your service and flexibility of working around our schedule.Personnel were very professional and helpful.After installation we did notice deep and light scratches on the HVAC system (disappointed about that).

Should be less than zero stars. Check out the complaints at the Better Business Bureau. Universal came out on a claimed $49 service call, tried to sell me $2500 in upgrades that had nothing to do with my actual furnace problem (like UV light, electrostatic filters, cleaning and "disinfection"). All the Universal tech actually did was check the furnace, change a fuse and charge me $400 for about an hour of actual work time; then the system failed again as soon as their tech left, which was because he failed to identify the actual problem; and then Universal refused to make it good without charging another $1100 for irrelevant services. By this time I checked google reviews where similar stories were posted, realized I had been swindled, and called a reputable company; I will also file a complaint with the California contractors license board. The actual problem was subsequently fixed by Campos Heating and Air by changing what turned out to be a defective thermostat which was failing to shut down the furnace, leading to overheating.
