Service genius technician, Eduardo serviced my tankless Waterheater. He arrived on time, was very polite explaining what was to be done. He was neat, thorough and worked quickly. He recommended a service program to avoid future problems.

Back again, Service Genius! I truly can’t say this enough—the people who work here are wonderful. No matter the situation, things are handled professionally. Service Genius continues to be a very reliable company, and the staff are absolutely amazing.

Something has changed. They used to be excellent, but recently they’ve had to come out 3 times to rectify their mistakes, and now the error that they said was fixed yesterday isn’t fixed. So I’ll have to call someone else, since I have no heat or air on the system they said they fixed yesterday (at no charge because it was their mistake). Update: someone from Service Genius did come out yesterday, but the person that came was incredibly disrespectful, which is a first, and he didn’t fix the issue, even though he said he couldn’t find anything wrong, and today it did the same thing. (Not the new system, I have two). Turned out the person who came and was so rude disconnected something which is why my old unit didn’t work.

I would strongly discourage anyone from using Service Genius for HVAC work.
They installed a new furnace in our home and never once disclosed that the installation could potentially impact our existing hot water heater. Immediately after the furnace install, our hot water heater tank began leaking. This was not a pre-existing issue and the timing is impossible to ignore.
When we contacted Service Genius, we were told someone would come out the same day. That did not happen. Days passed before anyone showed up. When their service representative finally came out, they acknowledged that the furnace installation could have contributed to the failure of our hot water heater, especially given its age, and recommended replacement.
However, when we followed up with the company directly, they claimed it was “impossible” that their work could have had any impact, took zero accountability, and offered no solution or support. This directly contradicted what their own representative told us.
The lack of transparency, poor follow-through, and refusal to take responsibility is extremely frustrating, especially when dealing with major home systems and significant expense. We were left with a leaking water heater and a company unwilling to even have an honest conversation about causality.
If you are looking for HVAC services, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. Based on our experience, Service Genius does not stand behind their work and does not prioritize customer care when something goes wrong.
