Love this place. Great service with friendly staff. Prices are good and worth for the service. Only reason one star off that since it's not doors closing the rooms sometimes a bit noisy but it's not a deal breaker.

I requested a 60 minute massage. The massage was mediocre in quality but the reason for the one star is the male manager "forced" me to change my original tip to $10. I told him that he is not allowed to make anyone tip the amount they want and he was insistent and I have never witnessed this in any other business. Pleaser beware. Tips are appreciated not mandated.

The massage was average. When I had already left, they ran out after me and asked me to leave a tip?

Firstly, I did let the Owner, Eva know via text message, that I was going to Yelp review! They need to take a picture and update it here on yelp because their prices have gone up again. This is the story about "requirement for tips being forced." Tips are NEVER "required" anywhere Except for fancy restaurants that have certain parties that reserve with a particular reservation... that is acceptable, because waiters and waitresses are paid a very small industry amount. I don't tip anyone except waiters and waitresses. I used to tip about five dollars to these massage facilities. Logically, if a company like this is making tips mandatory, that would not be a tip. That should be included in the price, so make your prices higher with no expectations of a tip unless somebody wants to tip someone. If you are requiring people with a generic sign, that has no law of mandatory tipping, it is the choice of the client to tip or not and however much they want. This is raising a huge red flag!! These massage facilities don't massage like a normal massage therapist that is certified with the California Massage Therapy Council in Northern CA. I am beyond perturbed! I've been coming here for a very long time about 9 or 10 years. Since inflation hit the entire wide world, it took me a long time to finish my stamp card. Buy 10 massages, get $20 off. Great, right? Not at all! I didn't notice that there was a "requirement" for tips on a "tip menu" on the counter where you pay. I honestly didn't see it. At a glance I thought it said "please tip with cash." I don't have a problem with that at all. Steve, the male owner just asked which package I wanted and I still didn't see the tip menu...and he didn't tell me about it. Had he made me aware of it, I would've walked out. This is new for them there. I don't think they've been doing this very long with the tip requirement. These types of facilities for years used to be $25 for an hour. Again, everybody's creeping up their prices because of this insane inflation which needs to stop everywhere. i'm starting to see certain places, just ripping off in the worst way ever! It is sneaky! I am a caregiver with the government and I make $17.25/hr. They haven't even raised us to the minimum wage. Us middle class people are piss poor! All I had on me for a tip budget was $5 - $10, but then I got guilt tripped into the requirement menu, and I had to give $10 more totaling $20. It defeated the whole purpose of the discount card as I ended up paying the original price I should've said she gets $10 or $0, but I'm too nice for that so I ended up taking $10 out of other necessities as in my Rx's. Eva should've just let me give the $10 to Annie first and foremost because I've been going there so long. However, NO ONE should be treated like that especially longtime customers! It is BEYOND insulting to see a menu with tip requirements. I was so thrown off by that that I called the California Massage Therapy Council. They're not aware of the multitude of foot spas around the state. I gave them some foot spa facility names. The representative said they don't find those few mentioned registered in their system, which could raise red flags in the future. That would also tell me their way of massaging is not 100% safe. I definitely see that they don't have the proper body mechanics. I do get concerned with their body mechanics because they could go home with pain. By the way, their non-private room is an open area with 6-8 massage beds and no curtain separators are used although they're installed. Another reviewer mentioned that, so I also wanted to mention that too...

I was required to leave a certain amount for a tip when the massage was absolutely not worth it. I was going to tip that price before being told to....it just feels weird that it is required. If so, build it into the price. I won't be coming back.
