“I've been going to Simply Serene to have Sam do her magic for over a year now. We have a standing appointment every 2 weeks for a deep tissue upper body massage. I have a connective tissue disorder and an autoimmune disorder that causes me significant pain and flares that leave me unable to function. My sessions with Sam are my form of self care and body maintenance. She focuses on my particularly troublesome spots and always responds to my feedback. Sometimes we chat a bit but mostly I silently focus on breathing and being present in my body while she does her thing - she lets me lead how much interaction we have. There's nothing worse than someone who chats incessantly during a massage and distracts you from relaxing, if that's your preference. Sam is very intuitive and responsive.
