i walked in needing a fill- they took me right away with no wait :-) the lady did a great job at reshaping and refreshing the nails . she worked on top of bad work from a previous nail salon. very friendly as well. thank you.
I didn't realize coming here lead to a series of unexpected event. I came here for a walk-in manicure after calling a few places as it turned out you really should make an appt around this area esp during the holidays.
The place seemed really empty at first so I wasn't sure how to feel, everyone there was really nice upon entering. However, the problem was the lady that was assigned to do my nails.
1) she was cutting my cuticles way too close to my actual skin, which a few times it hurted, and she continued to get closer despite me telling her it hurts.

2) during the first layer, we had problems with her UV machine because she says it doesn't work or something along the line, my first layer wasn't dry and she applied the second layer, then she had to tell me to put my hand in for additional 2 rounds in UV machine for the first layer. I asked her if it was dry bc it looked still really shiny and wet but she insisted that they were dry and pained over them despite the fact that i did touch my nail and it was still wet 3) then she was messing up on all 3 layers of her applications. 1/4 of the nail was missing polish on each of my finger (to describe in detail, on both side of the nail, so really only the middle was the only area painted) so the same area on each edge of the nail was not painted. she then blamed the UV light machine and switched it out twice, but then she still kept missing the 1/4 of the area as in she never painted them, and i wasn't sure what was really going on, i told her that they're missing she then added another layer of base coat to my already painted 3 layered nail which was really confusing because that isn't how you're suppose to do it, if you messed up you should wipe it down and start over not painting base over gel colored paint. As in I watch her paint my nails and she never actually paint the 1/4 of the area although she kept blaming the light not drying the paint? At this point I was really upset, because we been at this for a while and there was no progress, instead, there was regress because she kept trying to paint over it with more base coat instead of more color coat. I was giving her a very concerned look, also my hand was really tired because: 5) Throughout the whole time, the lady who did my nails was standing doing my nails, so she kept my hand up high. I keep telling her my hands are tired, if she can put a cushion or allow my hand to rest because normally other people I go to get my nail done doesn't have their hand up in the air. I been to a series of nail salon but i have never had someone asking me to lift my hand in the air so that they can paint my hand, but also i have to hold my hand because she can't take the whole weight of my hand -- but my hand gets sore!! I am only human, and my arm will get hurt, i also have carpal tunnel, so lifting it for a prolonged period of time was hard for me. There was only really 1 other customer at the time, they all sorta heard her struggling, but i guess only when she really asked for help i guess another staff came onboard to help. The other staff that came was really helpful, and did it really fast. I had no problem with her at all, but this whole experience was extremely concerning as I am not sure how she was able to do it with the other clients, since i had a simple gel nail with my regular nail that have a really easy shape to follow. I have never experienced such complication, uncomfortableness and just unprofessionalism in work. The chair for manicure was also very uncomfortable, half of the time i felt like I was falling off of the chair and my butt wasn't really fitting well into the chair. Which may also be the reason why this lady initially doing my nails was standing. I hate to rate mom-and-pop places low, because in my heart, I want to write good things on yelp about people and their businesses, esp to support them, but this makes it hard. If it wasn't for the other staff that came to save the day, i would've given this place a 1/5, however she made my experien
