Saw this place on yelp and thought I'd give it a try. I always pass by but never have time to go in. I called several times and there was no answer. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried to go in but the door was locked as if it was closed. This is disappointing seeing as the hours showed it was open for another three hours. Ridiculous.

I would love to try this place as I have already purchased a groupon. I still have not been able to reach anyone to schedule the appointment.

An awesome place to do birthday parties for your children. I have taken my niece here and she loved it. They did manicures for her and her friends. I'd recommend this place. They also sell kids clothing at affordable prices. Way below retail.

I was not surprised to read all this drama on yelp about this place. I tried to book a party for my daughter for August but was NEVER able to find the owner to book it. THE PLACE IS ALWAYS CLOSED AND THE OWNER NEVER RETURNS MY CALLS!!!!! How do they stay in business I wonder? I was willing to pay the almost $500 dollars for a private party but I guess she did not want my business. Anyways I am glad she neglected to call me back since I read so many negative reviews about this place. Don't bother coming here as it is ALWAYS closed anyways.

I live in Whittier , and I too drove by and wanted to know more about the business. I went home and red the reviews, which we know are not good. I decided to call and ask some questions, I thought I would get a better understanding if I spoke to some one in person. The phone number did send me to a cell phone, I did have to leave a message and the call was returned days later. I spoke to the owner , I asked some price questions, and service information. I did mention the " yelp fight" , and I was taken back by the unprofessional response. It was like listening to a teenager rambling on about another girl. Not professional, but immature, and inconsiderate about my time . I hung up and felt the post were right! One day while shopping, I walked in on a Birthday party. I wanted to grab a flyer and also put a face to the owner. The party was in full swing, however the place looked filthy and I could hear the guest saying how the restroom was broken, and how the owner promised a lot to the mother of the Birthday girl, but didn't deliver. Any way , I wanted to write this review to let everyone know the other post have truth behind them. I will not be surprised if this place goes out of business soon. I will never go there, nor recommend this place to anyone.

This place caught my eye one night while driving down uptown Whittier, so I decided to Google it to see what it was all about as the store front didn't appear to reveal much about the business. Was it a strip bar? A beauty supply store? An accessories store? A pink fabric store? After reading the limited Yelp reviews and the really bad one where the owner and Yelper went back and forth it made me hesitant to ever try it, plus their prices (see website, $40+ for really basic mani/pedi) were pretty pricey. However, on a Saturday morning I decided to bite the bullet mostly because I noticed a deal they had in their Facebook page. Plus, I wanted to make up my own conclusion and support a local small business. The front of the store is covered in hot pink so when I walked in I asked if they also did mani/pedis for adults and they cheerfully responded that they did. They didn't carry any OPI lacquer or massage chairs, a bit of a turn off (especially for the price) but not the end of the world as I was looking for a good clean nail place close to home. The place was completely empty with only one employee and the owner. We all engaged in some friendly conversation. I felt the need to inform them that I was hesitant about coming in after reading their Yelp reviews. Lets just say I wish I had not mentioned it, the owner went into a LONG detailed explanation about the events with the Yelper. She told me way more than I cared to know especially on an early Saturday morning while trying to relax as I got a manicure. My nails came out beautiful! Days later when I look off the nail polish my nails were extremely shiny! I believe the girl's name was Jessica. Fast forward months later.....I called to confirm their hours as their website was down. I called a few times and there was no answer (and no voice mail greeting) I finally decided to leave a voice message to what appeared to be a cell phone. She called back DAYS later and she confirmed that I didn't need an appointment and they would be there if I showed up around 10am. I showed up around 10:30am and the place was closed. I called the owner and no answer; I left her a message and reminded her of our previous conversation. She called me back DAYS later, I once again reminded her of our conversation of she didn't say anything; I then asked her if an appointment was needed and she said yes. So what in a matter of days they changed their policy?? What type of nail salon closes on Saturdays anyways? Every time I drive by this place it's closed which I think is pretty suspicious. Their website now says that "DUE TO OUR TYPE OF BUSINESS WE DO MANY EVENTS OUTSIDE THIS LOCATION.IS BEST TO CALL US FOR AN APPOINTMENT" Really? Due to their "type of business"?? It's unfortunate because I really liked the girl that did my nails. Oh and apparently they can't call the plumber to fix their bathroom faucet, they just let the water run...not drip...run!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this salon! Thename speaks for itself, super girly and super cute! I've been going there since they opened and have NEVER had a bad experience. I can't say that about every nail shop I've patronized....I'm sure we all have our chop shop horror stories, I know I do. That's why I continue to be their customer, I know they will do a stellar job. Plus, they're active in the community & do charity work for child cancer victims! I've taken my 2 year old who was treated like a princess but I have to admit, I prefer to be treated like a princess! If you want to be pampered without breaking the bank in a fun & relaxing atmosphere, Girly Girls is where you want to go. As with any reputable salon, an appointment in advance is required, although they have been known to accomodate walkins, and well worth it!
