“Review #635 None Elite Squad This place is Hip, theres always Hip Hop or Corridos tumbados playing on the speakers ..theres a pool table and a young staff working the Barber seats.. theres about 10 seats in total.. hardly any waiting cause theres always someone available unless you have a Barber you came to see in particular. Theres plenty of parking.. my only thing is the music is super loud if youre under the speaker in the waiting seat..other than that its cool. The haircuts are good..only thing is at times to fix a mistake.. some may end up cutting a little more than you wanted .. but the ones who we have gotten service from have all been cool and down to earth. I say try it“

In addition to feeling comfortable, here are some other things that I liked: 1) The cut itself, of course! I told Matt what I was looking for, he gave me a couple of options, made some suggestions, and the end result was even better than I had hoped for; 2) The hot towel and massage - no explanation needed!; 3) The flexibility to make an appointment online OR walk in is perfect for us who have busy schedules; 4) Parking is always easy and convenient; 5) The pricing is very fair, especially considering the high quality of the experience.

The gentleman who greeted us was very welcoming and courteous.The stylist who cut my boys hair was definitely skilled and did a great job . They have a beautiful fish tank and some cool turtles. “I came to this location to get box braids. Originally I thought it would be at the location by Whittier College, but I had to go a little ways down the street to the newer location which is a house in the area. Was a little wary at first, but that quickly changed. When I arrived was greeted with friendly faces. Invited me to the back where a sitting area resides and a lovely little fountain pool. Hope you aren't scared of big doggies and trust you don't have to be. The dogs were so cute and polite. I love pets so this wasn't an issue for me. I didn't wait long. I minute later I was greeted inside the house just a door away to her salon area in the home. I was impressed with the presentation as it resembled a professional salon. I sat down in the once again professional style salon chair and me and her had the best chat as she promptly started the timer to make sure she was charging appropriately. She was SUPER quick. Time flew by like it was nothing. She even explained how I should take care of my box braids for long lasting effects and gave me hair tips. Side note. Thanks for recommending Brick House Pizza. I went afterwards and it was delicious! Happy with how they turned out and loved the visit. Will definitely consider again!“

“They say 3rd times a charm and it must be true! I have a 1 year old and had been on the hunt for a true barbershop that would take my little guy. Several places I went to around Whittier wouldn't provide service for him due to his age. Prior to finding Sal he had 2 haircuts. One left him looking like Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber the other cut was just meh... By luck I came across Sal's and spoke to him. He said he could see my boy later in the day. When we arrived he took the time to make my baby feel comfortable and gave him a tour of his shop and introduced him to Lupita the snake. He sat Leo in the barber chair with a booster and proceeded to cut his hair. My little guy didn't even cry. Well at least not until the end but for a 1 year old he did great. Sal gave Leo an amazing haircut and was so patient and professional. When I tipped him he told me I was giving him too much we finally agreed on an acceptable tip and me and my little guy left as happy campers. I'm so happy to have found Sal and am looking forward to bringing my little guy here as he grows through the years.“
