I went for the first time today and Barber Kartel was a mix of the best elements of old-school and modern barbershops. Men and boys left looking sharp. The barbers looked sharp too, and they seemed to enjoy what they do, and everyone seemed to enjoy each other's company.“

“All the ladies are very approachable and inviting. They had the haircut price set at $14 for a very long time. A couple of years ago they increased the price to $19. Understandable after COVID and cost of living and operating any business in California, USA. If you call 15 minutes ahead of time they'll put your name on the list, but they Do NOT set appointments. Walk-ins only. Haircut quality is usually about a 3 outta 5. Vibe is 5 outta 5. I love all the ladies there. Very down to earth and friendly. They do hustle to keep it moving, so that extra attention you'll get from a $50 barber shop cut isn't there. I get a zero mid to high fade. You get your moneys worth and it feels like your family there. I usually tip generously $10 on top of $19 for a grand total of $29. Doing this helps the next time I come in for a lil extra attention to detail. Overall 4 outta 5 stars for Champ Cuts. Well done. See you next time. -E“
