“Janelle is awesome! When I first relocated to Roseville early in the pandemic, I was desperate for a haircut (since most businesses were closed during that time,) and it had been ~6 months since my previous one. I came across Janelle (Shipwrecked Barbershop) for men's cuts due to the reviews, so I got in touch and made an appointment.I believe we talked on phone, but after, we communicated via text messages. She had always been very responsive and easy to schedule (if you give enough notice...because she does book up!)Janelle is very talented in her craft. She listened to what I wanted, and then executed it exactly (or dare I say better than what I was hoping for!) During the cut and wash, she was friendly, understanding, and extremely personable. Wash was very pleasant and relaxing. After, in the "real world" I was complimented continuously on my look (and it felt good to chop off the shag.) She makes one feel good about themselves! Which is what we all really want from our hairdresser; to feel good and confident.Because of all of this, I've returned to her for every haircut since. In addition, I've started bringing my (now 10 year old) son to her as well. And she's always great with him, asking questions and keeping him engaged!If she cuts hair until the day I die, she'll be the last hairdresser I'll ever have/need.So, if you want to look good and feel good about yourself, I recommend Janelle.“
