“A good tailor isn’t cheap and a cheap tailor isn’t good.”
This shop does great work and you will be happy with the quality of their work.
My husband and Father in Law had their suits tailored here and they did a great job. They expedited the order and the quality of work was fantastic. Great customer service, you can tell they genuinely care about their customers satisfaction. We have sent a few of our friends there and they were quite happy as well. The prices were spot on and we will be going back this week to have another suit alterated. My husband is 6'6" and he was comfortable in the fitting room.
Just a Disclaimer: This was my first time going to this tailor shop and I have never met any of the employees. I couldn't decide between 3 stars and 4 stars but I ultimately picked 4. I was going to put 3 because for 2 suits (one vested) it cost $190 for alterations, which is the most I have ever spent at a tailor shop. When I went to pick them up today (a week from when I left them there), I went with the mentality, "With how much money I spent on these alterations, these suits better fit me like I was born to wear them." Now remember folks, tailoring is more of a process than a service. I see a lot of bad reviews relating to the time it takes to alter the suits and their work the first go-around. Now maybe I'm just generally skeptical about tailors, but I went in with a dress shirt, and dress shoes, and a dress belt to make absolutely sure that my suits fit with things that I wear with suits. And initially, they didnt. Overall, I asked them to hem the pants shorter to both suits, take in the waist of both, and fix the lining to one of the sleeves in a jacket. Normally, people would say that that is bad I would have to ask them additional changes, but I have learned the cardinal rule of tailoring over the years: NEVER TAKE THE SUIT HOME UNTIL YOU HAVE TRIED IT ON THERE. But alas, they made all the fixes within 15 minutes, and they never tried to pull one over on me to charge extra as I would try them on again to make sure that they all fit as they should. So for that, they get 4 stars. Side note: If you ever want to open up a tailor shop, do it next to a suit store that sells factory defects. It's seems to be a pretty good business model. lol
